VC pipeline
We have built our entire pipeline on airtable. With some help of IFTTT and Zapier, all pitches we receive from email, Angellist, Website and other channels elegantly get populated in Airtable. We also mark the sources of deals, reason for rejection/investment...etc and think we have a 360 view on everything we get and it is all done without any manual input from any of us.
I manage all my inbound Product Hunt requests using AirTable. I really want to build out more functionality into my AirTable, but I feel a little hamstrung by not feeling knowledgeable enough about how to hook up the kinds of integrations that would benefit me.
Another problem with AirTable is allowing outside users update/manage their own records if they need to make changes. Right now AirTable serves as a kind of dropbox for Product Hunt requests — it's a one-way channel. Allowing the submitter to update a single record (as Google Forms does) would be SO useful.
Also, the lack of form validation is a bummer... but I'm guessing they don't want to compete with folks like Typeform...
